A Team Passionate About Kids
Dr. Tehemina Richardson
“I believe that if a child is introduced to dentistry from a young age in a caring and compassionate way they will always enjoy their visits to the dentist.”
A graduate of Northwestern University, Dr. Tehemina Richardson completed her dental training at New York University, where she earned multiple distinctions including admission to the pediatric dental honors program and membership in the dental honors society OKU. Since returning to Chicago, she has achieved diplomate status with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and became a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, two positions that reflect her commitment to continuing education and organized dentistry. She currently serves on the board of the Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentistry and is an active member of multiple local and national dental organizations. She has been on staff at the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago since 2011, and is also a member of the medical staff at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital since 2017.
Prior to establishing her practice in Park Ridge in 2017, Dr. Richardson spent 11 years as part of a large and well-respected pediatric dental practice in Chicago and the northwest suburbs. Dr. Richardson’s practice philosophy is deeply rooted in her own parenting experience, and she believes strongly that every one of her patients has the ability to do well at the dentist, regardless of their support needs. In her spare time, she enjoys singing with a local a cappella group, knitting, and walking her fluffy dog.
